About Me

“There once lived a young woman who knew how this world should be run.” This quote is from one of my favorite movies based on a Jane Austin novel entitled Emma. At the young age of 18 when I first began college, this could have been the perfect opening line to a movie of my life.

The world seemed so simple and I had an answer for everything. I was not concerned about a major or a future career. Since then, I have been taken down a few notches, gaining life experience and knowledge will do that to a person.

I knew I would never change my major, but that changed a couple times. I knew I wanted to work in the health field, but that changed as well. One thing that was certain then and is certain now is my desire to make an impact on the world.

In my third year of college I was hit with a realization that dreaming is idle hoping, and does not require or promote action. This epiphany forced me to set measurable goals that are demonstrated in my portfolio. Each campaign is a testament to my desire to learn and grow. The organizations I have been able to work with are worthwhile, and provided me with a sense of fulfillment.

As a goal oriented individual, I strive to become my best self. I fully recognize that I do not know everything, and I have learned the value of being teachable. I hope my work captures my desire to learn, grow, and try to make a difference.
